Support and training

From your very first day, you will receive extensive support and guidance and you will be introduced to a 6-month induction training program, tailored to provide you with all the fundamental skills and information needed to make you successful in your chosen field. Furthermore, all the mandatory trainings required will be provided.

Current Vacancies at Solace care

We are actively hiring experienced, child-centered, residential home managers to strengthen our established team of professionals. Besides having the requisite characteristics needed to effectively lead a team of Residential Workers, the position needs an up to date understanding of the following :

  • The quality requirements for a Residential Children's Home
  • Knowledge regarding the Ofsted examination process
  • All necessary laws and regulations relating to the children's care system and residential children's homes.
  • Effective Supervisory methods
  • The requirements and needs of young people and children with complicated mental, psychological and/ behavioural difficulties
  • Quality Standard regulations for Children's homes

A salary of up to £40,000 is offered in accordance with the relevant experience and qualifications, the applicants that manage to secure the job would benefit from the guidance from the thoroughly experienced Senior Management team aswell.

We are now hiring Residential Workers to complement our existing childcare teams working with children that can present a variety of social and emotional challenges. The job may be demanding, but the constant stimulation, development opportunities, and relationship building are difficult to find in any other working environments. We welcome applications from experienced residential staff of all ages as well as applicants who may not have as much experience but are interested in working with young people and children.
